Major Players are working alongside the world's largest marine electronics and sports company who are looking for a Junior Brand Manager/Exec to make up their in-house Marketing team. This multinational innovative company is at the forefront of navigation for both recreational and commercial marine systems. The Role / Company

This company is producing products under other leading brands; with a product range from fishing to cruising to sailing to professional markets. This company has a commitment to quality products for performance, safety and enjoyment on the water. These brands are sold in more than 100 countries worldwide, with an estimate of more than 1 million boaters using their cutting-edge technology.

You will assist the Head of Global Brand with the planning and delivery of brand communications, new product launches and global sponsorships within the sailing and fishing markets. You will ensure the creative team have the assets required to complete work to a high standard and on time. This is a chance to drive content and global social plans, ensuring implementation across the business! The majority of this role will be copy-focused.

This role is hybrid-working with 2 days a week in the Southampton office and 4 visits a year to their Spanish Headquarters.

Key Responsibilities

* Supporting the brands in the implementation and delivery of B2B and B2C marketing campaigns and managing marketing calendars
* Supporting in the management of Global Sponsorships and Partnerships, through planning and execution and measurement of agreements
* Supporting Global Promotional program
* Support the creation of global content plans and help with the day-to-day management and creation
* Project manage the production of 'above-the-line' and 'below-the-line' assets from preparing creative brief, commissioning work, approval and sign-off to writing press releases
* Ensuring a smooth work flow with the production teams eg graphic designers, web designers, copywriter, video production, etc
* Support in managing/ organizing of product shoots on location as required, ensuring all the assets are captured
* Writing of copy for marketing materials, internal brand communications, e-mail comms and press releases
* Supporting PR/media relations activity as relevant
* Development and Management CRM content in conjunction with Global CRM manager
* Supporting the on the ground activities in Alicante around key customer events for the brands
* Develops insights and knowledge with the brand leads on the market, its customers and consumers
* Supporting performance data analytics and research to help identify trends and opportunities

Skills & Experience

* 3+ years' experience in a marketing role
* Brand management experience with Big Brands
* Excellent communicator
* Proven copywriting experience
* Experience of a global matrix organisation
* Digital marketing experience desirable
* Highly organised
* Great sense of humour
* Passionate about the outdoors; ideally the marine world/sailing

Salary & Perks

Location - Flexible with 2 days a week in the Southampton office

Salary - £30,000 - £40,000 Depending on Experience
