Our client is an award-winning, global, independent creative agency with offices all around the world. They were founded to combat today's new communication challenges and to get clients' brands talked about by a vastly evolving digitally native consumer. They blend brand advertising, social media, PR, content and digital strategy with the creativity of entertainment to create work that generates its own audience.

Head of Social - The Role

This industry leading agency are now looking for an experienced, confident and intelligent senior social media professional to lead their small social team and work across some of the agency's most valued accounts - huge consumer brands with plenty of budget to create awesome, eye-catching work. You will input into creative development on all the agency's clients in order to ensure consistency and best practice across social and place digital at the inception of ideas.

Responsibilities, Skills & Experience: -

* Minimum six years experience working in Social Media, preferably from
an agency background
* Proven track record of managing teams working across multiple social
media accounts.
* Experience of being the senior social media voice in a department or
agency, working seamlessly as part of a broader agency team from
creative and planners to SEO and CRM
* Proven experience in collaborating with creative teams, and ideally
coming up with ideas personally as well as working with creative to
ensures their ideas can work for social, as well as cascading up-to-date
best practice social updates to the creative department so they can
include in their ideation
* Experience of influencer marketing with a network of talent agencies in
your black book to help us build and maintain a database of talent /
talent agencies for social influencers etc
* Strong account and project management skills, including responsibility
for team resource planning and account P&L
* Advanced knowledge and understanding of the established social
media landscape, including experience running activations on emerging
platforms
* Experience in the development and execution of consumer facing social
media and digital marketing campaigns, ideally at both a market and
global level
* Experience working with content distribution partners (eg. Huffington
Post) and with content discovery partners (eg. Outbrain / Taboola)
* A thorough understanding of the paid social media landscape and the
ability to develop content publishing plans, either independently or with
a media partner, that deliver on objectives and ultimately drive 'social to
purchase' conversions
* A detailed understanding of social media monitoring tools such as
Brandwatch, Crimson Hexagon or Pulsar, and how these can be used to
demonstrate ROI in the Earned space
* Success leading new business drives, taking responsibility for the social
media elements and delivering them from concept to development and
throughout the pitch process
