This is an opportunity for a Head of Social Media who is seeking an opportunity to be a real driving force for the development and innovation of social media for a global brand .You will lead in building and raising the profile of the brand globally, working in collaboration with the PR, Digital and the wider Marketing team, driving the growth of the division and leading on the implementation of cutting edge integrated Social and Influencer campaigns.

Responsibilities - Head of Social Media
* Leading the development of the brands Global Social Media & Influencer strategy
* Driving the future of the brands social strategy, adapting and improving their deployment to ensure they maintain and increase their momentum in the market and stay relevant to the growing needs of the business.
* Innovate in the types of content appearing on existing pages/feeds and in experimenting with new platforms
* Building the visual and editorial identity of social video, stories and interactive content
* Building an innovative influencer strategy
* Be responsible for the overall output - from number of stories to tone - across all social platforms
* Be the go-to person across brands for everything social media
* Constantly reassess social strategy and come up with new and creative ways to get the most out of our platforms and grow our audiences
* Monitor the competitive landscape and stay on top of social changes within the publishing world
* Oversee traffic targets across the sites
* Ensure brand tone is clear across all platforms
* Oversee engagement, retention and monetisation across the sites

Requirements - Global Social Media Manager
* Ideally 6+ years' experience within social & influencer marketing
* Established knowledge, interest and experience of working in the social media, influencer and content marketing industry with a strong understanding of SEO strategy
* Extensive experience of overseeing content planning and social media management
* Team management experience
* Live and breathe social media strategy, trends, and brand voice
* Expertise in analysing external conversations and social listening to inform strategic planning
* Have a deep understanding of the current social media landscape, namely how to use insight and gear algorithms to your advantage
* Experience using data and metrics to measure impact and determine improvements
* Experience managing a budget for driving awareness and engagement, and the interplay between organic and paid social
