£25K - £30K  (12-15 month contract)

Major Players are working with a tech-leader; an internationally recognised brand who are looking for a Graphic Designer to join their Creative Team.  This multinational innovative company is at the forefront of GPS tracking from personal fitness wearables to automotive, aviation and marine systems.  This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of a global leading brand; passionate about innovation and technology!

The Role / Company

This brand spanning 3 decades have constantly developed their offering through innovation and research. They have headquarters globally and are dedicated to staying at the top of their game with developing their brand, exposure and staying relevant to consumer needs.

This is a position is for a Graphic Designer to start on a 12-15 month contract with potential to extend into a permanent position going forward.  You will have a graphic design background, ideally within an agency and be familiar with the fast-paced environment of working across material for a global brand.  An insight into the world of marketing would also be useful.  You will be an expert in editing and creating consistency across all platforms when amending and positioning branded material.  This role requires high organisation in terms of asset management and maintaining an impeccable library of design material to be used by the creative teams.  Whether you’re a part-time fitness enthusiast or live and breathe wellness; this is a great opportunity to join an established creative team with world-class products!

You will be part of a flexible working policy, with 3 days a week at their European HQ near Southampton on the edge of the beautiful New Forest.  This location is perfect for those commuting from neighbouring cities or if you have succumbed to the quieter countryside or coastal life.

Key Responsibilities

  • Creation and adaptation of marketing materials, content and assets for all new product launches along with advertising and partnership campaign activity

  • Produce ideas, design, and artwork in response to projects briefed for the UK & Ireland market

  • Contribute to the brand asset library systems to provide UK retailers and distributors with advertising collateral and campaign materials

  • Provide support to the business by creating high quality presentations for internal and external meetings

  • Adapting, managing and approval of Global marketing materials for local needs, ensuring brand consistency

  • Lead organisation and maintenance of local asset management systems and processes to ensure creative assets are easily accessible to the wider marketing team.

  • Ensure all marketing materials adhere to brand guidelines

  • Manage local agencies where required for additional workload requirements.

  • Ensure all marketing activity complies with relevant laws and regulations e.g. Trading Standards, GDPR, ASA guidelines

  • Ensure personal compliance with Code of Conduct, Web Governance, Bribery Act, Competition Law, GDPR and other company policies

Skills & Experience

  • Recognisable qualification in graphic design or experience in graphic, web and email design for an established brand, retailer or agency

  • Understanding of advertising principals (modern brand theories) and media landscape

  • Ability to conceptualise ideas and develop innovative creative solutions

  • Expert knowledge of layouts, graphic design fundamentals and typography

  • Ability to understand the categories business needs to develop successful creative assets

  • Superior organizational skills.

  • Good understanding of and/or or willingness to learn and develop paid media and brand building skills and knowledge

  • Must possess a working knowledge of all marketing channels

Salary & Perks

Competitive salary dependent on experience - £25,000 – 30,000 + benefits

Flexible working policy – 2 days a week at home and 3 days in the office
