Graphic Designer/ Artworker

Creative, Design & Studio £ 25,000 - £ 27,000 per year, Benefits

I'm currently recruiting for a detail-driven, talented Graphic Designer/Artworker (the office is based in York however it is a remote opportunity where you are expected to pop into the office every now and then) - someone who has an acute eye for detail, a passion for typographic excellence, impeccable visual standards and is an all-round team player.

My client is looking for someone who can enhance their creative offering with heaps of talent, initiative, great communication skills, a positive attitude and a desire to learn and develop. You'll be working as part of a supportive and successful wider design team, you'll deliver on a full range of outputs including report design, data visualisation, campaign collateral and marketing comms. You'll be working on high-profile projects, and you'll often be the last set of eyes before things leave the building. So it's essential that you're detail-oriented and obsessed with quality to ensure that everything they do really delights their clients and makes an impact. So if grids, type, pace, energy and working for global brands are your thing, then this rewarding role is for you.

The ideal candidate will have:
- You will have a strong passion for beautifully crafted design, a love of typography and an acute eye for detail - nothing gets under your skin more than a rogue widow or a misaligned grid!
- You will be driven, motivated, enthusiastic and a genuine team player.
- You will be adaptable and flexible in how you work, with the ability to prioritise and organise your work effectively.
- Exceptional knowledge of InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator and PowerPoint is essential. At least 2-3 years' agency experience is preferable, and Digital experience is a bonus.
