Integrated Project Director (IPD)

They are about totally transforming the way we make stuff now and adding to that offering so we're fit for the future and beyond. To drive this vision, they have created a really exciting new role for you!
A bit of background
They are a challenger agency for challenger brands. They have always challenged Themselves internally to develop their model and offering. It's this challenger spirit which led them to be ahead of time with their internal production capabilities. The market has moved quickly, however, and plenty of other businesses are now fighting to produce the ideas and campaigns that they develop. For them to be successful they need to achieve a difficult task: a total transformation of making ideas and improve quality whilst reducing costs so they can offer value to their clients. It also needs to be easier and faster for their clients and people to work with them.
Working as part of the team of agency IPDs, and supported by the Managing Director, the IPD is the client facing production lead within our clients core leadership team. This team acts as an extension of our clients, to deliver their agenda across their markets. Specifically, the IPD takes an end-to-end programme view of our clients' business - the briefs, the opportunities - and applies a strategic approach to implementing effective programme management to aid world class idea creation. The IPD interrogates all activity from a production perspective, selecting the best processes and the best approach. They work with the discipline leads within the partnership to build the right tailored teams for each project. Specifically, they work with the production team leads to build the right team of Creative Producers and makers to execute their ideas - and they go onto support those teams throughout productions. The IPD is creatively centric, driving delivery excellence across the agency and the brands they are associated with. They ensure the highest standards of creativity and craft are always upheld.
Our IPD needs to bring the following:
Be a strong senior, talented Production leader with a breadth of experience across integrated production, client services and project management, equalled by their passion for the creative output. An in-depth knowledge of the commercial aspect of running a large client portfolio, from managing profitable client management teams, to budgeting and scheduling ideas of any scale. A high-functioning mindset to balance multiple projects at once. An in-depth understanding (and ideally experience) in all aspects of production. Experience in both high end campaign productions AND low budget agile production is essential - a love of both is just as essential. An unstoppable hunger for creative excellence. An entrepreneurially creative mindset, and an ability to think of
different ways of implementing structure and process to bring ideas to life. A love of problem solving and ingenuity. An ability to bring high levels of craft to everything we make. An ability to negotiate and persuade…and know when it's right to swing from one to the other! A great ability to work with people, understand and interpret needs, and enjoy life.
