Senior Publicist - Film Production Company- Soho

Up to £28K Dependent on experience Senior Publicist - The Company My client is a successful Film Production company based in Central London seeking an experienced Publicist to join their team

Senior Publicist - The Role The ideal candidate will have 2/3 years experience of working within the film

industry in a publicist role - either in-house or agency, be dynamic, forward

thinking, an excellent planner and with a proven record of working with talent

at all level.

Key Responsibilities



* Working closely with external publicity agencies to make sure they have assets they require, weekly updates, and comments fed back to team
* Choosing assets for theatrical campaign and getting approvals as appropriate. Assets to include: key sets of stills, film clips, EPK interviews.
* Production notes - creating production notes if not delivered, checking and delivery to publicity agencies.
* Talent coordination - liaising with agents/publicists to book travel, accommodation, grooming - such as hair/makeup etc.
* Junket venues book and coordinate the day with talent reps and agencies, booking grooming if needed.
* Press screenings - liaise with FDA, book screenings, multi-medias, working within screening budget for each film and map out dates.
* Attending press screenings where appropriate.
* Have a good database of journalists which is updated on a regular basis.
* Film festivals - liaise with film festivals re submissions, screenings and talent attendance, Q&A hosts. Must attend Q&A's where talent are present or make sure suitable replacement is in place.
* Regional tours - work with agencies to book travel, accommodation, and grooming, local coverage as and when needed.
* Work with marketing manager to ensure FOH is adequately displayed, social presence is across both channels.
* Premieres - event management, liaise with cinema teams, organize carpets, ticketing, production as and when needed
* Awards submissions and campaigns to ensure members screenings are full/ mail-outs to members and where applicable Q&A's with talent.
* Working with sales companies to update on publicity on relevant films.
* Updating internal teams on weekly publicity updates and in meetings.
* Hand over from theatrical campaigns to home entertainment teams where necessary
* Look after home entertainment publicity and placement of reviews and if applicable interviews with talent.
* Trade publications - work closely with and ensure placement of releases within trade publications such as Screen, Variety, Deadline.
* Press release - write and gain approval for releases from the relevant parties.
