Email Marketing Specialist

Calling all Email Marketing Enthusiasts looking to further their career in a leading online D2C brand!


We are working with an exciting company to find an Email Marketing Specialist with a passion for leveraging data and insights to optimise campaign success. This role is a fantastic opportunity to work in-house as a part of a specialist marketing team, you'll have exposure to channels such as PPC, SEO, Social Media, UX and Consumer Research.

We are looking for someone who wants to manage the creation and deployment of email campaigns across multiple European markets, who will work closely with Marketing Directors to produce strategies and content that is localised and engaging. Someone who is an excellent collaborator and team player, with an appetite to learn new technologies, as well as produce timely and creative content.

Key Responsibilities



* Creating marketing emails for multiple European markets and ensuring they are built to a high standard, tested and deployed.
* Contributing to the development of the email marketing strategy and monthly campaign plans.
* Occasionally writing email briefs and liaising with the relevant Copywriter/Designer to ensure the email meets their approval.
* Using dynamic content within emails to create a personalised experience.
* Being responsible for the development of A/B testing in your core markets and reporting the findings.
* Setting up promotional codes for special offers, testing and validating they work as expected.
* Analysing & reporting on performance of individual campaigns in your key markets.
* Taking ownership of the strategic development of email segmentation for our BAU campaigns in all markets. This includes: a full understanding of the available data values, defining the rules, making sure that segments don't overlap with themselves or automated journeys (where applicable), finding what works best for each individual market, circulating the segmentation strategy and continually sharing learnings with the wider marketing team.
* Supporting the Email Lifecycle Manager on journey building, optimisation, modifications and reporting where needed.

Skills & Experience



* At least 2 years' experience in an email marketing role (preferably in B2C eCommerce)
* Skilled in using an ESP to build and schedule emails, as well as create targeted customer segments
* Exposure to building automated/triggered email campaigns
* Interest in learning SQL to support better customer segmentation


* Familiar with email best practise, industry trends and regulations (GDPR & PECR)
* Experience of using Google Analytics or similar web analytics tool
* Strong analytic skills with excellent attention to detail
* Great communication, organisational and teamwork skills
