E-Commerce and Content Assistant- Beauty Brand- East London


Major Players is working with a fast growing e-commerce beauty brand, that currently have an exciting opportunity for an e-commerce and content assistant to join their 5 person team based in Highbury and Islington, North London. The ideal candidate will be responsible for building and managing copy across websites, email and customer service to drive brand awareness, customer acquisition and retention from the ground up.

We are looking for an all-rounder to join their growing team! If you love writing, e-commerce and are looking for a role where you can develop you skills…this is it!

Key Responsibilities: -

Blog and Article writing - you will be responsible to writing all the blogs on their website. These will be to entertain and to educate and to sell their products (so sales copywriting skills are required)

Website copywriting - you will write all the copy on their website, this will be for the products, landing pages and general website copy.

Email Writing - you will write copy for their email campaigns and auto responders.

Design - General designing, this will include social posts, email templates and website elements. Must have a keen eye for design.

Customer Service Support - providing support to their customer service team during busy periods. This will include resolving any customer issues, handling exchanges, and resolving conflicts.

Monitoring Order Fulfilment - Monitoring order fulfilment and resolving problems with orders.

Customer service admin - This will include checking stock, returns and provide weekly reporting on stock and return levels.

General website admin including - Website testing, uploading and maintaining website content. Uploading new products, blogs, and troubleshooting website issues.

Attention to detail and regular site checks - checking the site for errors and keep the site maintained and up to the high standards required

Landing page build - Using a landing page builder create the landing pages for lead generation campaigns and product sales.

Product Launches - Taking part in new product launches to ensure copy, products, landing pages, emails, product pricing and availability and digital content is accurate and delivered on time.

Organize and maintain - Google drive, our external hard drive and Asana and anywhere else we store data

Liaise with Ads team - to product content for adverts

Process Documentation - create process documents for key business activities.

Skills and Experience: -

* Strong communication skills and ability to interact with internal teams
* Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills
* Ability to multitask, use initiative and remain calm under pressure.
* Good knowledge of Excel (essential), Shopify (desirable)
* Be comfortable with working in a fast-paced environment
* Be proficient with Excel and google sheets
* Must be excellent at taking ownership of tasks and efficient at prioritising and staying organised and on top.
* Must be able to respond to urgent requirements and queries
