Digital Project Manager - Events

Creative Services £ 30,000 - £ 35,000 per year

Major Players are working with a company specialising in the design and delivery of personalisation experiences for live events and retail installations. Due to continued growth they are currently looking for a second Technical Producer (Digital Project Manager) to join their team.

The Role

Reporting to the Delivery Manager and working as part of the Production Team, the Technical Producer will be responsible for planning and producing the digital, printing, and technical design elements of events and installations. This will involve liaising with the sales team and directly with customers to develop and understand customer requirements, translating them into reality, and achieving a final outcome that exceeds expectations.



* Working closely with the sales team, software developers and clients to ensure project software and/or technical requirements are accurate and product features meet the needs of clients
* Developing Statements of Work for projects
* Scoping technical requirements for events & installation and considering setup, live and take down parameters
* Creating event flow diagrams and technical schematics
* Working closely with the software team, creating software user flow diagrams and compiling software specification spreadsheets
* Working with the designer to ensure software UI/UX mock-ups are accurate based on the project requirements and client brand
* Contributing to software review & testing sessions
* Producing & maintain production resource tools including user manuals, documents for retail installations and events, and project asset libraries
* Developing, publishing and using sales & project management tools and documents
* Taking an active part in team meetings on past and upcoming events, ensuring that all processes are always adhered to and improved
* Designing, recommending, and implementing where appropriate any initiatives and action plans to improve internal processes and procedures
* Conducting site visits to support on-site activity and delivery

The Candidate



* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
* Business and technical acumen and awareness
* Digital project management experience and familiarity with the software development cycle
* Experience of technical (digital) production for live events
* A technical background in printing, IT, software or AV is highly desirable
* Self motivated
* Problem-solving skills and initiative
* Strong attention to detail
* Good time management skills and the ability to prioritise
* The ability to work as part of a team and to build strong working relationships
* Comfortable dealing with ambiguity and managing a fast pace and often shifting projects
