Digital Engagement Specialist

Marketing, Comms & PR £ 35,000 - £ 37,000 per year

Major Players are working with a leading animal welfare charity. They have been placing animals at the centre of everything they do. More than three million animals later, still working hard to achieve their vision that every dog and cat should live in a home where they are treated with love, care and respect.

They are looking for a Digital Engagement Specialist to support the delivery of high-impact email and SMS engagement strategies and growing campaign output by leading on cross-audience digital communication planning and reporting. Leverage campaign and audience insights cross the supporter base to best overall effect, ensuring maximum ROI and supporter lifetime value alongside a best-in-class supporter experience.


* Lead on email communication planning across the organisation, ensuring intersections with other online and offline channels are coordinated to best overall effect.

* Plan, own and manage a cross-audience communication schedule that delivers maximum ROI and supporter lifetime value;

* Lead on the development and ongoing optimisation of advanced reporting dashboards along the email customer lifecycle, ensuring a regular feedback loop between audience insight and ongoing campaign planning

* Email sign off and review within the team. Plan and execute one-off email/SMS campaigns where support required.

* Oversee testing strategies and the ongoing management of an email/SMS testing matrix. Take the team lead in ensuring that tests are well-coordinated and that learnings are carried forward into business as usual

Skills + Experience

* Significant experience managing email/SMS communications and journeys to a complex supporter base and serving multiple business needs

* Proven track record in developing high level campaign planners to meet business objectives and in accordance with agreed contact strategies and frequencies

* Proven experience in implementing processes for monitoring, analysing and reporting on email and SMS activity, and using insight to recommend ongoing optimisation

* Proven experience managing a range of stakeholders with competing priorities and demands

* Ability to develop sophisticated email marketing reporting dashboards pulling from several data sources, using data visualisation tools such as Tableau

Salary + Perks


As this role is office-based, you'll be expected to work in the Battersea office for 3 days each week and you'll be able to work up to 2 days each week from home.
