Creative, Design & Studio £ 35,000 - £ 45,000 per year

ROLE: Digital Designer

Unique opportunity to join motorsport publication.

Key Responsibilities
- Design and manage the production of the digital edition on all platforms, working alongside the Art Editor to ensure consistency of design and quality with the print edition.
- Help designing and maintaining the website, creating editorial pages, advertising banners and promotions. Some web development skills will be imperative.
- Produce the design and production for websites, product graphics, web logos, social media graphics and banners, static and rich banner ads, email campaigns, and email templates.
- Work with e-commerce team and internal and external developers to ensure aesthetics also are aligned with usability, accessibility, and web standards.
- Work with Head of Digital Marketing to translate and create marketing requirements into compelling, appropriate campaigns and designs.
- Manage and produce digital design work, including banner sizing and versioning.
- Translate wireframes into simple, easy-to-use User Interfaces.

Skills & Experience

- Experience working in publishing, with particular emphasis on web and digital design and development.
- Proficient in InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator
- Working with a range of media, including computer-aided design (CAD), and keeping up to date with emerging technologies
- Creative portfolio should show a clarity of vision, high levels of design skill and creative flair
- Clear capacity to follow a brief, good communication skills, an ability to multi-task

- Meticulous eye for detail and the ability to work quickly and accurately
- 'Can-do' collaborative attitude
- Interest in publishing and sport would be great but not a must

Salary & Benefits

- £35-45k
- Hybrid working. 3 days on site/2 days at home
