Digital Marketing £ 35,000 - £ 40,000 per year, benefits

Major Players are excited to be working with media communications agency who employ just over 100 people have billings in excess of 250 million. This agency puts human insight at the core of its media strategies, and this strategy has allowed the agency to work with hugely successful brands such as music, electronics, and fitness industries - plus plenty more. They're proud to offer a raft of services that go way beyond the traditional media planning and buying business model. You'll be enthusiastic in leading the planning work across the agency's flagship financial services client. You'll need to build excellent relationships with clients, media-owners, and internally. You'll be able to take a client brief, understand it and work with internal stakeholders to create a best in class media plan that you can present to clients. You'll then work with junior staff members to ensure that the campaign is set up, optimised and reported on to the high levels expected by clients.


* Lead planning & buying, working with your account director
* Demonstrate smart media planning with effective digital strategies that focus on measureable success delivering against both brand and performance objectives.
* Drive innovation and deliver forward thinking media strategies that win awards
* Project managing the implementation of campaigns, tasks such as: Collating specs for creative agencies; ensuring trafficking and tagging are correctly applied; working with internal digital teams (Social, Search, programmatic) to activate plans
* Experience in building reports and working with campaign taxonomy for visual reporting suites
* Day to day management of client relationships earning the trust and respect of the client and key contacts
* Management of your own budgets, planning and bookings
* Develop strong relationships with strategists and planners internally
* Work to deadlines and manage client/strategist's expectations
* Develop understanding of client's products and business objectives
* Manage post campaign analysis and buying reviews
* Provide market intelligence to planning teams on all aspects of the digital marketplace


* A genuine passion for digital advertising and it's evolving role within the marketing mix
* Good knowledge of digital channels from Programmatic and Social through to Search
* Excellent knowledge of the UK digital ad market
* An understanding of other media channels and their impact on digital
* Strong negotiator. UM prides itself on its media pricing and successful candidates will know how to strike a stellar deal
* Previous experience in the entire digital process from campaign briefing, planning, implementation, management & optimisation and reporting
* Show understanding of tracking and measurement, from ad servers to dashboards
* Good client facing communicator with some experience of presenting to clients
* Be a leader! You will be managing junior members of staff and will be expected to nurture their talents
* Highly personable with a collaborative spirit, someone who thrives in, and helps create a positive and powerful team dynamic
* Enthusiastic, dynamic and pro-active, always looking to make positive contribution and get involved
* Dedicated, diligent with a curious and creative mindset - never afraid to ask questions or challenge
* Highly ambitious, with a thirst for continually learning and improving
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills
* Excellent Powerpoint and Excel skills essential
* Strong numerical ability with very good attention to detail
