Digital Account Manager – Communications Agency

This is an opportunity to join a thriving communications agency in central London. The role is for a Digital Account Manager. You will take responsibility for leading the social element of a joint PR and Social account on for a client. You will be someone who eats, breathes and sleeps Digital. This is a forward thinking, purpose driven communications agency working with clients to make a real difference to society and the community.

 

Responsibilities – Digital Account Manager

  • Work as a member of integrated client teams to drive digital and social initiatives such as content development, paid media amplification, analytics and measurement, social listening and community management

  • Serve as the day-to-day internal lead and support senior team members across creative deliverables, ensuring work is delivered in-line with timelines and budgets

  • Write, edit and review first drafts of social content, blog posts, analytics reports, internal and external memos, and client recommendations

  • Monitor relevant social media conversations and prepare reports for clients

  • Accurate reporting - meeting deadlines for monthly, quarterly, etc. and including the right content

  • Derive insights from digital analytics to inform campaign optimizations

  • Maintain social media content calendars to ensure updates

  • Proactively flag digital opportunities and risks for clients in a timely matter

  • Stay on top of emerging trends in the UK and globally and share them in a variety of ways inside and outside the firm

  • Develop and launch paid social campaigns, including platform and audience targeting, based on client marketing objectives

  • Demonstrate expertise in your client's business and industry and know your client's competitors

  • Produce client-ready written communications and have strong verbal communication with your clients

    Requirements – Digital Account Manager

  • Deep understanding of the social media ecosystem and related best practices for incumbent (e.g. LinkedIn, Twitter) and emerging (e.g. TikTok, Clubhouse) platforms

  • Demonstrated proficiency in social media copywriting and digital content creation

  • Familiarity with digital tools like Khoros, Spredfast, TalkWalker, Google Analytics, Hootsuite, SEMRush and others

  • Experience in a wide range of digital specialty areas including measurement and analytics, organic and paid social media, PPC and digital display advertising, email marketing, digital reputation management, and influencer partnerships

  • Outstanding ability to research and synthesize information to create clear and polished memos and reports

  • Assist in development of presentation content and agendas

  • Leverage internal meeting opportunities to prepare and present information about a client's business, communications initiatives and program results to internal audiences

  • Clearly articulate yourself in team meetings and be comfortable presenting in front of a group

  • Exceptional communication skills and experience providing client counsel as needed
