Digital Account Director

Client Services £ 350 per day

We are looking for an experienced Digital Account Director to join a highly successful team to work on a high-profile FMCG account.

Working closely with a multi-disciplined team including design, technical development team, UX, Account management and client teams, you're wanting to use the experience you've gained in working with clients to help them understand the role technology can play in their business and be part of a team that is helping shape, define and deliver a digital programme for brands.

You'll be used to solving complex problems for client and helping them plan, unlocking new opportunities for the agency, as well as inspiring and motivating a multi-disciplinary team around you. We're looking for an enthusiastic team member who excels at communication and organisation, builds strong relationships with both clients and our teams and is keen to learn more in a supportive organisation.

The role will be focused on working on platform build projects alongside supporting existing multi market websites releases and managing the technical back end that supports the web site strategy, UX, conceptual design through to development. You will implement new ways of working, establish role and responsibilities with the agency and client teams, propose deployment schedules and release plans.

We are looking for someone with excellent communication and organisational skills an ability to multitask and who is adept at prioritising the day to day whilst actively managing client expectations and communication.

You will be a self-motivated team-player with digital expertise, excellent people skills and great attention to detail. You will have prior experience in managing enterprise level CMS and constant work flow management.

You must be a confident, capable account handler and articulate communicator, with a thirst for digital innovation combined with a powerful personal drive to deliver project excellence.



Key responsibilities



* Must have an Account Director title, and have the 'digital thinking' mindset
* Digital agency experience and knowledge of activating social and digital campaigns for large global brands.
* Ensure all work is delivered to the brief, on time and within budget
* Contribute to new business efforts
* Work effectively across accounts, multiple projects, or a large program.
* Manage client relationships and provided clear and well-structured communication
* Work with the account team to identity and grow new business opportunities
* Provide leadership and steer your team to the highest standards
* Identify opportunities to develop capability within your team
* Contribute to the development of the brand

Skills / Competencies



* Have proven experience working in creative agency leading brand or digital teams in a fast-paced environment comprised of pitching to clients, delivering a portfolio of work and managing client relationship
* Experience of working with strategic, creative (design and UX/UI) teams as well as technical teams to manage an end-to-end project cycle
* Understanding of common web technologies, technical architecture, platforms, CMS, and services
* Outstanding leadership and communication
* Strong client facing, presentation and negotiation skills
* Experience of managing multidisciplinary on-shore and off-shore teams
* Equipped with strong analytical and trouble-shooting skills
* FMCG experience, useful
