CRM Lead - The Company

My client are a personalised fresh nutrition and wellness DTC startup for pets and their parents. They're building a pet company from the ground up by using technology and the best possible pet nutrition expertise for personalisation. They are vertically integrated with their own in-house production to ensure they make the best possible products, and in time will make it accessible and affordable for every pet parent. They believe in putting pets first and their brand celebrates pets as companions at the heart of the home. After solid investment by some of London's best VC's and Angels they're raring to grow and are looking for a passionate , CRM Leader to help them develop a highly personalised growth and engagement program.


CRM Lead -The Role

The CRM Lead will be playing a crucial role by owning the revenue growth from existing customers.

Responsibilities Include
* Creation of the CRM strategy that optimises all stages of the customer lifecycle. This will involve creating the strategy, ensuring its proper implementation and adaptation, as well as communicating this effectively throughout the business.
* Manage the coordination and integration of all CRM marketing activity (multi-channel) to drive customer engagement, retention & income
* Customer journey mapping and maximising commercial opportunities & brand loyalty
* Use data and insights to deliver a relevant, targeted and personalised consumer engagement.
* The role covers strategy but also has a hands-on element as you will be expected to participate in campaign creation and execution.
* Order Frequency: How can they drive retention whilst protecting long term order frequency?
* Order Value: Utilising their pipeline of new products to ensure maximum attachment rates


The role will have a broad remit over the following functions of the business:

* Customer insights: Developing their understanding of their customers
* Lifecycle Strategy
o Utilising CRM flows to fulfil our retention and revenue objectives
o Develop customer journey priorities based on insight
* Product Development


CRM Lead - Skills

* 5 years' experience in CRM, with a proven track-record of developing & executing CRM strategy
Proven experience setting up early customer retention campaigns
* Used to delivering against set CRM goals and objectives
* Experience in creation and use of customer segmentation
* Experience of devising contact strategies across multiple channels including but not limited to Email and Social Media
* Knowledge of use of incentives in CRM for loyalty or retention programmes
* Experience in working within a fast-paced start-up or scale up environment.
* Experience growing customer life cycle from scratch
* Proven experience in increasing customer life time value
