Copywriter

A leading global company is looking for an experienced Copywriter to join their team in New York working in the Marketing Consumer department. They are looking for a passionate, creative, and skilled candidate. The role will work collaboratively with the cross-portfolio team and will concept, write, and deliver compelling work for a variety of brands in the art, entertainment, and sports industries. As a key member of their global, in-house creative team you will work with teams around the world to deliver best-in-class marketing campaigns that disrupt the status quo and drive brand value and revenue for our events.

Candidates should provide a portfolio of innovative and inspiring work for individual executions and campaigns across a variety of channels: digital, social, print, TV, video, retail, and other promotional channels.

Knowledge and experience:



* Proven experience as a copywriter for B2C brands with a strong portfolio showcasing your copywriting skills including a range of styles, tone of voice and executions in multiple channels for consumer-facing brands and properties (bonus if you can demonstrate experience writing copy for live events);
* Working knowledge of search, social media, PR & analytics and be adept at researching and analysing data in order to understand what content our properties need to create in order to elevate our ranking in search and social;
* Demonstrable knowledge & experience of writing SEO copy and copy for digital and social channels.
* Experience working on brands in the world of art, entertainment, fashion, film & sports is preferred.

The candidate should demonstrate:



* Proficient in Keynote, Microsoft Office Suite, Google AdWords, WordStream etc.
* A naturally creative mindset with a bias to innovative & strategic creative solutions and storytelling.
* Deep curiosity and passion for pop-culture, consumer trends, emerging tech and media.
* Excellent written, verbal, presentation, and interpersonal communications skills.
* The ability to balance multiple projects at once and work well under tight deadlines.
* The ability to build and maintain effective relationships with a range of key internal and external stakeholders (often in different countries and time zones).
* A strong team player that is flexible dependent on business demand.
* The ability to self-direct and motivate and work with minimal supervision.
* Excellent time management skills, ability to work calmly under pressure while meeting deadlines.
