Content Marketing Manager

Major Players are exclusively working with a production agency who specialise in telling stories through film, video and animation. What sets this agency apart is their passion for embracing the fun of their work and the beautiful films they are responsible for creating!

They now want more people to be aware of their great work and are hiring a Content Marketing Manager to help them do just this! This is an exciting opportunity to help expand their company’s digital footprint and increase their brand awareness. You are likely to have a copywriting background and enjoy developing a tone of voice that is cheeky, fun and above all engaging!

The Role:

  • Build and manage a rich content/editorial calendar that attracts a qualified audience (including blog posts, whitepapers, ebooks, reports, webinars, infographics, etc.).

  • Create shareable content appropriate for specific networks to spread both the brand and content.

  • Grow new leads, including marketing-qualified leads, by converting site traffic through calls-to-action, landing pages, and lead generation content.

  • Create and maintain metrics reports on marketing and sales activities, effectiveness, and business impact.

  • Analyze marketing and sales data to develop insights and make recommendations on areas for optimisation.

  • Build and manage the company’s social media profiles and presence, including Instagram, LinkedIn, and additional channels that may be deemed relevant for specific results.

  • Explore new ways to engage and identify new social networks to reach our target buyers.

  • Collaborate with designers, external influencers and industry experts to produce relevant content that meets the needs of both key stakeholders and our audience.

  • Manage and improve organic search engine performance and goal-setting based on clickthrough rates, traffic, and conversions.

  • Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and changes with SEO and major search engines.

  • Manage various email campaigns, including the template designs, calls-to-action, and content used in our email sends.


  • 2-3 years of marketing and content creation experience.

  • Proven track record of producing content that drives brand awareness and lead generation.

  • In-depth understanding of analytics and able to create and present actionable insights.

  • A dual-minded approach: you’re highly creative and an excellent writer but can also be process-driven, think scale, and rely on data to make decisions.

  • Nit-picking-level copy editing and proofing skills, as well as the ability to naturally adopt our brand’s particular style and tone of voice.

  • Proficiency in marketing automation and blogging software in order to generate traffic, convert visitors into leads, and then nurture them (using dynamic workflows) into converted customers.

  • Solid understanding of SEO and an eye for graphic design

  • Demonstrable experience leading and managing email and social media advertising campaigns.

    *Salary is £30,000 + benefits*

    *Flexible / Remote working is possible but you should be eager to travel for Social / Team events in Cardiff (Where the agency is located)*
