Content Editor - The Role

This fantastic organisation are looking for a full time Content Editor to join their digital team on a 12 month fixed term contract. You will be entrusted with assisting the Head of Content with the creation and management of content across all their digital channels - websites, microsites, blogs, newsletters, email campaigns and social media. You will be tasked with content creation, management, uploading and troubleshooting. This is a broad and challenging role with plenty to get your teeth stuck into.

Responsibilities: -

 Be a vital part of the digital team helping to deliver a new iteration of the website
 Lead on the content population and user acceptance testing of the beta version of the website.
 Provide technical support, advice and tuition as part of the administration of our website portfolio
 researching and writing text for a target audience
 Using metrics and feedback from users to design and plan content
 editing and proofreading existing text
 publishing digital content using a Drupal CMS
 Ensure all mailings are fit for purpose and sent in a timely manner.
 Help ensure GDPR-compliance of all our digital channels
 Promote the use of appropriate digital tools within the organisation
 Champion branding and the application of house style.
 Advise on quality and relevance of content.
 Troubleshoot technical issues, where relevant.
 Ensure accessibility standards are upheld.
 Produce and deliver training materials.
 Assist in the production and analysis of monthly statistical reports.

Skills and Experience: -

 Good HTML skills and an appreciation of web architecture.
 Administrator experience and knowledge of Drupal. (Knowledge of other website content management systems would also be valued).
 Experience of designing content for target audiences.
 Excellent writing skills
 A good comprehension of the Microsoft Office suite.
 Familiarity with Google Analytics and other reporting tools.
 An understanding of agile working.
 Excellent grammar and an eye for detail
 The ability to complete individual projects, as well as work as part of a wider team.
