CONCEPTUAL DESIGNER - £35-£40K - PERM - W LONDON - AGENCY/IN-HOUSE HYBRID

A LITTLE BIT ABOUT THE ROLE:

This role would see you working with one of the worlds leading alcohol brands, working with their innovation team and Digital & Design Studio. The role entails collaborating and communicating productively across all levels and disciplines, working alongside a Creative Studio Director & CD/Client Services, Integrated Designers, Social Community & Content Managers and Platform Managers.


WHAT YOU WILL YOU BE DOING:

The Conceptual Designer utilises strong conceptual thinking, technical expertise and design knowledge to translate client concepts into creative pieces. This role visualises (via sketches and design software) and develops solutions for products and retail campaigns whilst working closely with the client's brand guidelines.

They will also be taking digital, print and social content projects from brief to completion, providing new ideas and creativity. This role includes creating inspiring and exciting content - from ideation to repurposing and reformatting of assets.

The designer will be able to manage the day-to-day running of all projects and work within specified timeframes and budgets. They will evaluate and monitor industry trends and brands, proactively bringing fresh ideas to the table.



WHAT YOU WILL NEED TO BE GREAT IN THIS ROLE:

Proven and considerable experience of design industry and agency experience.
A fantastic portfolio crammed with innovative and inspirational work demonstrating conceptual and digital design.
Creative flair and strong Art Direction - full of ideas across multi-platforms.
Knowledge of retail, product, packaging and environmental design.
Confident, enthusiastic, quick to learn and able to think on your feet.
Strong knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite.
Ability to sketch (conceptual scamps) to a very good standard.
Passionate about good design, motivated and ambitious.
Strong typography, layout and technical skills with excellent attention to detail.
Experience of working across online banners (static and animated), social media posts (primarily Instagram and Facebook), web design, UI design and storytelling.
An understanding of responsive design across all digital platforms.
An understanding of the latest Social and Digital technology trends.
Motion and video skills using After Effects & Premiere a bonus.
Ability to create storyboards for animation and film purposes.
Working on print based collateral with great knowledge of branding.
Able to talk through your ideas confidently with the team and clients.
Be able to work independently and also within a team.
Experience of retouching is a bonus.
Experience of photography and videography is a bonus.
