The Role / Company
The company is an industry leader in technology solutions that enable mergers, acquisitions, initial public offerings, restructuring and other critical capital transactions in just under 180 countries. Their customers include the world's leading investment banks, private equity firms, law firms and corporations. The company offers the tools to simplify, streamline and accelerate the due diligence process, helping them close more deals, faster. A truly global team of high-energy, passionate people the company boasts of strong individual voices all working as a close-knit team, bringing out the best in each other. They are now looking for a Communications Manager to establish and scale their external communications efforts across the EMEA region. This person will have extensive experience developing global media strategies, shaping messaging, building campaigns, pitching stories and managing a PR agency to achieve positive media coverage and brand awareness. As a senior member of a highly dynamic, nimble communications team, you will play a crucial role in shaping the global company brand, working directly with members of the Leadership Team to reach millions of people with key messaging.

Key Responsibilities
Create and implement press-worthy international and regional media campaigns that lead to tangible results in the form of media coverage across target publications.
Identify and drive a regular drumbeat of stories to support business goals, excelling at opportunistic storytelling and inserting Datasite key messaging into topical, industry and competitive news-cycles.
Develop creative stories for trade and industry publications that drive visibility for the external (and internal) brand and the executives.
Manage content creation for key communication vehicles, including news releases, media pitches, media responses, byline articles and blogs for executives, research reports, spokesperson quotes, messaging documents and award submissions.
Own and manage relationships with the media.
Provide comms counsel and support to the EMEA Leadership Team, including drafting reactive responses and Crisis Communications.

Skills & Experience
Minimum 8-10 years in financial services/ technology PR, corporate communications
You can think big picture and strategy
You live for media relations, owning the process from A-Z
You're an amazing storyteller who can construct media-worthy narratives
You have media connections across the EMEA region and can hit the ground running straightaway
You have experience managing C-suite executive(s) communications strategy
You are results driven and use metrics to measure success and drive change
You have eagle-eye attention to detail, are proactive and energetic
You thrive in a fast-paced environment and have strong project management skills
