BUSINESS DIRECTOR - CONTENT / SOCIAL/ DIGITAL
A superb agency based in Central London that focuses on creating content - Video, Audio, Written.
The agency is seeking a Business Director with a strong background in content and digital marketing to take a leading role at the agency. The role will be part of the core management team that will define the proposition of the agency and drive it forward to rapid growth. This is an exciting opportunity that would suit an ambitious candidate who wants to take a step up to help build a new agency proposition that will lead the definition of content marketing.
A primary focus for the role will be developing content strategies for clients. The successful candidate will have a proven track record in creating highly shareable digital content and experiences and will have proof of excellent client service skills. The Business Director position will have a leading role in driving the new business of the
agenda so it is essential that candidates have strong examples of winning new business.
The role will manage a team of two Account Directors and two Account Executives though this is expected to grow rapidly. Candidates must be able to demonstrate proof of successful team management growing and developing individuals.
As part of the top management team the Business Director will have to work hand-in-glove with the top agency management team. As such they need to be work intelligently with colleagues, being both dynamic and leading and diplomatic where appropriate and contributing to the positive working culture the agency.

Specific areas of required knowledge:
Knowledge and practical experience of working with key social platforms E.G.
Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Instagram, Snap and YouTube
Developing strategies and tactics that build and engage audiences
Creating and implementing "content campaigns" (video, audio, text) to ensure high quality relevant content is distributed and available to targeted audiences
Developing and building upon relationships with copywriters, journalists and other content suppliers, including production companies
Online influencer engagement e.g. identifying and building relationships with bloggers, communities and developing engagement tactics
Strong skills in analysis and organisation, with experience of producing and communicating client reports
Creative thinker with experience of generating new campaign ideas and messaging
Familiarity with SEO / SEM techniques, PPC and ad-buy campaigns for clients
Basic understanding of the web development process Client Servicing
Key client contact and day-to-day account activity
High degree of professionalism and thorough understanding of client/agency relationships.
