Account Director

Client Services £ 55,000 - £ 60,000 per year, benefits

My client is a global production agency and together we are looking for an Account Director to deliver excellent strategic, new business and client relationship based work with a major pharmaceutical brand. The Account Director will be commercially focused, building strategic partnerships and responsible for organic business development.

Role Responsibilities:
* Build and maintain strong, long-lasting brand team relationships
* Nurture existing client relationships and ensure projects are delivered to brilliant standards, on time, on budget
* Present estimates for projects and keep the brand team updated regularly with additional costs
* Pitches; planning content, budget, resource, programme and delivery
* Schedule/facilitate brand project scope and internal kick off meetings
* Develop new business with existing brand teams and/or identify areas of improvement to meet financial targets
* Monitor service level agreements and track key performance indicators
* Escalate team or project issues internally as needed
* Assist in developing marketing strategies to increase agency's sales revenue
* Adhere to established business plans and meet business objectives

Role Requirements:
* Pharmaceutical brand marketing and/or advertising experience
* 10+ years of work experience as an Account Handler in a Client Servicing team
* Demonstrable ability to communicate, present and influence key stakeholders at all levels of a pharmaceutical organisation
* Strong financial management skills and awareness of profitability
* Excellent listening, negotiation and presentation abilities
