Account Director

Account Management £ 40,000 - £ 50,000 per year

I am recruiting for a really fabulous Multi-award winning student marketing agency who are looking for an account director to head up their Amazon account. As an account director predominantly work on the student programme across 5 European markets. They also work with the Video and Music teams. This role has lots of experiential elements, but they are really looking for a strong account handler who has strong critical thought, enjoys working with data and linking this to trends and relevant insight and builds really strong client relationships.

What will my role as an account director look like?

Take ultimate responsibility for the account and client relationship as an account director

* Represent the voice of the client within the agency
* Act as guardian of the account (internally and externally)
* Lead and manage the account team ensuring excellence in delivery Sha
* be the future of the account, driving growth - Recognising and identifying opportunities
* Make solid recommendations to our clients demonstrating strategic understanding of their business, the competitor landscape and business challenges
* Drive and respond to new briefs with the team
* Validate relevant partners for client projects and campaigns
* Embrace and collaborate with internal divisions to ensure solid cross channel execution
* Ensure all campaign elements are underpinned with robust contractual, legal and insurance documentation (escalating to legal team as required)
* Encourage an environment of creativity, pushing yourself, your clients and your team to go beyond the obvious
* Ensure and evaluate resource to meet all client demands on a regular basis
* Ideal experience would cover experiential, events, social/content and knowledge of media planning to add towards the integrated solution we offer for our clients
* Financial management as an account director

* Demonstrate financial acumen and flair, adhering to Seed and client procedures whilst installing diligence across the team
* Demonstrate knowledge of Seed financial model by balancing our profitability needs with client service requirements
* Manage overall client revenue, profitability and performance against forecast
* Input into forecasting with the SMT
* Monitor staff utilization and performance
* Provide guidance to finance and procurement to effectively negotiate with clients Line management as an account director
* Motivate, inspire and lead your team, fostering a culture of accountability

* Mentor, challenge and develop the team by demonstrating outstanding role model behaviour
* Track and evaluate career progression of team through regular catch-ups and annual appraisals Seed brand building
* Demonstrate and always on mentality in regards to new business and networking on behalf of the agency

* Participate in new business initiatives and contribute to the overall culture of the agency
* Competently represent Seed within a credentials presentation
* Maximise and seek approval for successful campaigns and pitch wins with client wins

* Experience in managing multiple individuals, driving them towards excellence
* Excellent written and presentation ability
* A natural gravitas and presence to make things happen!
