Account Director

Account Management £ 50,000 per year


Small boutique Content/Social agency are looking for an experienced AD to join their growing team.

You must be passionate about all things Social and Content and most importantly have real creative flair!


The successful applicant will have:

● Minimum 3 years hands-on-agency experience as an Account Director with big brands,
managing multiple client accounts and the client-agency relationship
● Minimum 5 years experience in the industry
● Track record of forging strong senior client relationships that led to revenue growth and client
● The ability to plan and strategise at a senior level
● A persuasive and confident approach to creative projects
● Excellent written and oral communication skills
● Effective team management capabilities
● A keen attention to detail and budgetary restraints
● Full awareness of creative processes and techniques - including digital platforms
● Previous experience as a Project and Account Manager
● Ideally a creative agency background
● You will need to hit the ground running

Your duties will be to:

● You will be owning the day to day client relationship
● Attend project/client briefings alongside other members of the team
● You will be a senior point of contact, taking briefs from the client and producing internal briefs,
overseeing the concept development process, and acting as an escalation point for both the client
and the team. During brand campaigns, you may be required to attend status meetings alongside
other agencies, and will be involved in all meetings where Waste are presenting back ideas to the
● For certain clients you will be working across a range of brands, attend brief-response and
ideation sessions, relaying information back to the team. You will also act as a point of
contact for the client, whilst overseeing & co-ordinating the internal team
● Work very closely with AM/PM teams to ensure all the work we deliver is of the highest quality
and on time/to budget, with oversight over the production process
● Create yearly client plan to map out opportunities, goals, objectives and 'Compelling events'
● Develop client relationships and grow the accounts
● Understand clients challenges and opportunities
● Follow client's main competitors digital marketing activity
● Manage the more junior members of the team, setting their objectives and coaching them to
develop & succeed
