Diversity, Equality & Inclusion
One of our key pillars at Major Players over the years has been Diversity and Inclusion; we recognise that as a talent agency we are in a position to help our clients achieve equality, diversity and inclusion within the workplace. We are constantly scrutinising our processes and structures internally to ensure we continue to be a conduit for positive change; and build a more equitable, inclusive future for all. As part of this commitment, we are:
- Continuing to build a diverse talent pool through partnerships with the likes of She Says, Creative Equals, Social Fixt and Livity - to name just a few
- Reviewing how and where we advertise our roles; the job boards we post on, the language we use
- Undertaking unconscious bias training internally to ensure that all of our talent partners are aware of their own biases
- Putting in place internal affinity groups, opening up a dialogue with management to ensure our business is developing the right way
We are also currently in the process of devising a D&I pledge that will drive processes including blind CV's, setting quotas and goals and will focus upon how we can positively influence the creative industries and beyond.
