You’ll need to broaden your skills and be prepared to take responsibility for areas you may not have previously covered, including facilities management (liaising with landlords, suppliers, contractors etc). The trend is now also on PAs and EAs to look after more people, even at director level and above. But the good news is that the growth seen in the first quarter has meant support people are in demand again and companies are prepared to pay for the right talent.
