Last year saw a marked increase in demand for broader skill sets. We’ve found our clients are increasingly looking for candidates who are able to add value by providing insights into new methods. This was especially prevalent within the digital arena as more research agencies moved collection methods online, while in-house teams required more of a focus towards web analytics. With the credit crunch taking hold, we expect the trend of hiring people with a range of skills to continue but the research market still remains robust.
