Programmatic Trader - Agency - London

£250-350 a day

Minimum 3 month on-going contract

Programmatic Trader - The Role

You will be a key part of the team responsible for the best use of programmatic buying technologies, with a focus on developing trading best practice, execution of performance and brand based plans, as well as reporting & commenting on performance throughout the duration and upon conclusion of campaigns.

Key Accountabilities:

To help create and deliver Programmatic Media activity to ensure overall client strategy is met. This will include:

Development and execution of programmatic strategy against client sets (80%)

* Flawlessly executing strategic plans for clients
* Ensuring operational brilliance in the inputting of large scale budgets into technology platforms
* Optimising campaigns which are performance focused and campaign goals are of upmost importance
* This will be for; display, mobile and video campaigns
* Reporting of all insights to client in a timely manner during, throughout, and at the end of each campaign
* Proactively surfacing insight as to why the campaign may or may not be performing

- Scale campaign budgets due to strong performance

Integration with digital ad-operations team and additional channel teams (20%)

* Creating best practice implementation between the digital ad operations team and the Programmatic Media team, leading to timely activation of planned campaigns
* Troubleshoot any issues between digital ad operations and programmatic technologies
* Ensuring all relevant reporting which will impact campaign performance is being provided from 3rd parties and/or internal teams

Programmatic Trader - Key Skills

Desired experience:

* Management of programmatic investment technologies at the coal face of client delivery within a specialist environment
* A high level of experience in managing digital display campaigns
* Additional experience in one of; video, mobile, search and paid social campaigns
* Specific knowledge base of programmatic technologies
* Strong understanding of all constituent parts that can deliver client success (dynamic creative, data management platforms, real time feeds etc.)
* Understanding of how to execute upon custom audience segments and work alongside DMP activation specialists

- Has shown the ability to drive results driven campaigns across different client sectors

Essential skills

* Results driven
* A high degree of numeracy and literacy
* Understands operationally how to setup a campaign for success
* Able to communicate back why the campaign is or is not performing to expectation
* Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
* Ability to pre-empt problems and be pro-active in producing solutions
* A strong grasp of digital marketing methods and results driven performance metrics
* An understanding of brand planning and advertising awareness measurement
* A willingness to learn new marketing concepts and challenge conventional wisdom

- Strong knowledge of current Programmatic Media landscape
