Media Manager - The Company

Media Manager - The Role
The role would be a position, managing media campaigns for the business and reporting into the Head of Media. The role may be aligned to a specific product division dependent on business requirements and incumbent experience to ensure excellence.
-Product campaign management
-Key Stakeholder management
-Media campaign planning and implementation through all stages of the process:
-Working closely with key stakeholders across product divisions and within central marketing to simplify and communicate media plans.
-Guiding the media agency to deliver market leading media campaigns.
Media Manager - Key Skills
-Stakeholder management is critical. You must be able to communicate clearly with a wide range of senior stakeholders. This involves the ability to distil complex problems into easy to understand solutions.
-Significant media and planning experience. Minimum 5 years' experience in leading media agency. Ideally Associate Director or above in planning.
-Understanding of all media, how it fits together and how it can be used to deliver a media strategy
-Understanding of how media strategy ladders up to comms, marketing and business objectives
-Taking ownership of projects and is conscientious about delivery
-Conversant in audience analysis and the tools in the UK that measure this (TGI, NRS, Touchpoints, BARB, etc..)
-Competitor and marketplace understanding and the tools used to measure this (Nielsen, Mintel, Contagious, etc..)
-Ability to present media plans in a variety of forums, clearly and concisely, often at short notice.
To be successful in this role you ideally have:-
-Deep knowledge of nuts and bolts media planning
-Experience working with big brands
-Desire to understand the wider commercial context and how media and advertising fits within it
-IPA Advanced Certificate
-Experience working with creative agencies
