Junior Account Director - The Company

My client are research and user experience focused, with a strong track record in creating everything from high-quality, visually impressive consumer websites to complex web applications, and in delivering effective digital marketing campaigns.

Junior Account Director - The Role

My client are looking for an experienced Junior Account Director with a full service agency background with experience in Media planning, digital campaigns and the drive and passion to oversee a large Tourism Account. The right candidate will have strong experience in media planning and buying across a variety of channels, they will be confident in delivering a campaign from briefing right through to reporting and have demonstrable experience in overseeing large budgets and building a good client relationship and working well in a team and independently.

Key Responsibilities:

-Overseeing media planning & buying for the Agency across offline and online media
-Strong understanding of the Digital Channel/Landscape and preferably well experienced in programmatic
-Owning the day to day client relationship, making sure that all requests are dealt with in a professional and timely way
-Leading and management of client projects from conception through to completion- including collating reports with in-depth analysis for future changes
-Budgetary control and management
-Ensuring that all the work we deliver is of high quality and on time/to budget.
-Leading by example, taking a positive attitude at all times, embracing opportunities, resolving issues collaboratively and swiftly, and making sure that senior management are kept abreast of issues/concerns.
-Taking on line management of more junior members of the team, including setting their objectives and coaching them to develop & succeed.
-Working with a multi-disciplinary team and being able to manage through the line campaigns including PR, B2B, Advertising, Events and Media.


Junior Account Director - Key Skills

My client are looking for someone who thrives working in a small agency and brings high energy, positivity and a can-do attitude. You should be a self-motivator who flourishes in a busy environment and is always looking for ways to improve what we do

-Excellent organisational skills: must be able to multi-task and manage multiple campaigns
-Media planning and buying experience in digital environments
-Experience working in an agency environment
-Extensive account handling experience
-Confidence to advise client on digital
-Extensive comprehension of Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook)
-Experience in managing accounts, forecasts and budgets
-Compelling presentation and communication skills
-Fine eye for detail
-Proven experience of leading a team
-Education: degree in Marketing
-Experience: minimum of 5 years experience
-Experience of Travel and Tourism
