My client is a successful global VC backed startup working across London, the US, France and Germany. They aim to redefine the process of buying their main product online. The team at this succesfull business brings deep e-commerce knowledge and aims to shake up the multi-billion dollar industry it works within. By only selling online, they are able to sell premium quality products at a fraction of the price in stores. They are a pioneer for change, an advocate for ease and a champion for fairness. Due to their continuing growth, they are now looking for a Head of Performance to join their passionate, agile and creative team in London.

They're looking for an exceptional Head Of Performance to lead their digital marketing team (Currently 3 reports but they want you to scale it). You'll take them from where they are now - a fast growing startup already at product market fit - and not rest until they are the world's leading player in their space.

Some of their channels are already doing well, so they're looking to triple-down on them (Search and Facebook). Other channels would require more testing. But regardless, they take an experimentation and multi-disciplinary approach to growth.

Head of Performance Marketing - Responsibilities

Responsible for PPC, Facebook and Display performance across multiple websites, search engines and geographies
Formulate and manage the implementation of initiatives to enhance the efficiency or scale of PPC campaigns.
Manage the allocation and rate of spend to ensure best performance against commercial goals.
Review and continually improve strategies for account structure, bid optimisation, creative and keyword development.
Harvest data on cross-device usage and further develop the strategy for mobile advertising.
Monitor and communicate long term and short term trends - both from internal data and from the market
Acquire, activate, and retain customers.
Be the person who pushes them to think bigger, faster, more ambitious.
Define and own quantitative metrics for growth.
Gather & analyze data like a boss. You understand numbers can tell you what is happening, but not why. You know when it's appropriate to get qualitative answers to your questions.
You can recite conversion metrics for any step of the funnel in your sleep and you'll know where to focus for the biggest impact.
This is a management position, you will be managing and scaling a team.
You will be hands on as well as operational
