Digital Social Strategist - The Role

My client is seeking a talented Digital & Social Strategist who lives and breathes social, mobile and creative digital experiences. As part of their growing Digital Services Team - you will be working across a portfolio of B2B and B2C technology accounts delivering on social and digital elements of engaging integrated campaigns with award winning PR teams. Under the direction of both the Head of Digital and our Senior Digital Consultant you will work on a varied range of digital and social media projects for market leading hi-tech B2B and B2C companies. Whilst support and help will always be there, you will be given as much responsibility as you can handle. The role will be dual focused, with a responsibility to footprint the Digital and Social offering for existing clients and the cultivation of new business opportunities.

Responsibilities: -

 Strategic vision, able to demonstrate experience of decoding complicated briefs and translating into digitally driven ideas and delivery
 Experienced at brainstorming digital and social ideas, formulating these ideas into clearly laid out campaign strategies, and presenting these into internal teams and clients
 Digital integration, must be expert at talking to clients and partners about digital and technical opportunities, and have the ability to drive work that helps the agency demonstrate that they put digital at the centre of their ideas and communications, with a strong focus on integration
 Comfortable managing both big and small budgets effectively, creating project and implementation plans, as well as understanding and communicating the implications of dependencies and risk.
 Account profitability experience of how to maintain account profitability through effective team service levels, time analysis and direct cost recovery
 Maximise the amplification and reach of PR and content-led programmes through the use of paid media, including social advertising and content
 Develop strong relationships with technology partners and social media platforms to identify potential areas of collaboration to support client work and new business)
 Proactively cross sell existing skills; up sell skills; networking to establish new opportunities
 Contributor within pitch teams: both at strategic and project management level
 Developing strategy and presenting to capitalise on new business opportunities

Skills & Experience: -

 Marketing/Social/PR industry experience as a digital account handler, with fully rounded skills and extensive experience in an agency environment
 Brand strategy communications and social media experience
 Bachelors degree or an equivalent level of education
 Social Media management and listening tools, including Hootsuite, Sprinklr, Sysomos and Brandwatch
 Social advertising, specifically LinkedIn and Twitter
 Proven strong project management skills and experience (budget, scope, time, risk & quality management) across a mix of small and large accounts/projects
 Proven understanding of how to work with digital influencers to build ongoing relationships, generate buzz, and increase client share-of-voice
 Fluent in English
 Decisive but diplomatic
 Able to get the best from different types of people
 Confident, approachable and knowledgeable, inspiring confidence in others
 Commercially aware, with an ability to capitalise on business opportunities
