Display Account Manager - The Agency

My client offer the full spectrum of planning and buying, off and online. Each operating division of the Group has a separate leadership team, supported by a group trading structure and the services of their in house specialist divisions. The 1st arm of their business integrates the art and science of performance marketing by applying the principles of search to all facets of biddable media.
The 2nd arm of their business is a specialist division that develops brand engagement opportunities such as broadcast sponsorship, editorial partnerships, experiential marketing and branded content across all platforms. The 3rd arm of their business is their specialist Marketing Effectiveness Consultancy, using analytics and modelling to understand the ROI of on and offline media to link the value of media plans to the clients P&Ls. The 4th arm of is their in-house Out-of-Home planning and buying division, providing solutions across all traditional, non-traditional and emerging digital formats.
They have a wealth of clients across a multitude of industries including fashion, beauty, retail, FMCG, Leisure & Tourism and Entertainment. As well as a fully integrated training and development program for each individual they offer a company benefits club and everyone is a member. Display Account Manager - The Role

The role involves ensuring you deliver insightful digital planning and flawless execution of their clients' display advertising for their clients

Key Responsibilities:

- Products / Client - work in close partnership with the account teams to deliver media plans from brief to execution and to reporting.
- Process - take a candidate media list and a brief and make recommendations for display solutions.
- As part of the EMEA team, you will play a pivotal role in building central strategic plans and coordinate with local markets.
- Deliver process of buying media and planning across branding and programmatic tactics, while leveraging your team to ensure all campaigns are trafficked correctly.
- Leading the planning and buying of digital display campaigns Supporting the Head of Display with the strategic direction of the team and clients
- Client management and strategic implementation of campaigns.
- Work with your exec and assistant to develop reports on performance and making optimisation recommendations.


Display Account Manager - Key Skills

Client Focus;
Takes time to understand the objectives of the client/campaign

Commercial Acumen / Drive for results;
Ensure accurate costing of all proposals and accurate reporting of actual numbers during and after activity.
Ensure your team make proactive recommendations for optimisation.

Relationships and Teamwork;
Actively build relationships and work with direct colleagues and colleagues in the wider agency.
Make constructive recommendations around process and strategy to maximise the quality of our product.
Resolve issues diligently and collaboratively with the rest of the team.
Build a strong relationship with your clients, delivering client facing presentations on strategy, campaign recommendations and subsequent results.

Product Expertise;
Produce clear, insightful and creative recommendations, supported by the wider team as appropriate.
Have a good understanding of all possible display solutions, through our trading desk, networks and direct buys.
Demonstrate a solid understanding of the strategic and technical aspects of display advertising.
Understand the role of display in the wider suite of digital channels, notably Search, Video and Social.
Work with the trafficking ad ops team to seamlessly deliver trafficking needs for allotted clients.
Deliver faultless reports in agreed templates.
Have a strong knowledge of how tags/pixels work to ensure we track campaigns effectively
