Account Manager - The Company

My client are a thriving global media agency and part of one of the world's most successful communications groups. Account Manager - The Role

The role involves working with one of the market leaders in the video game and entertainment industry. The client are broken down into two main segments; one dealing with sports games, the other with shooter games. This role is to be the account manager looking after the main shooter titles. You will be responsible for the integration of the inter-agency team and maintaining good, strong relationships with the media buying teams. The role is demanding and you will make an immediate impact in the area of day to day campaign planning and delivery.

You will also be responsible for the day to day delivery of the campaigns, researching into audiences, managing reporting and assisting in the development of brand activations. You will also be expected to liaise with the internal buying teams to achieve the common goal of delivering world class work. You will also be play a role in the business development of the account and the agency - you will be involved in the maintenance of internal forecasts, stretch planning and identification of organic growth opportunities.

The relationship with the client is relatively new, and has been going just over a year , and is an exciting prospect as it continues to grow and prosper.


Account Manager - Key Skills

This role would benefit an ambitious, experienced and pro-active Manager who has the vision and skills to move the brands forward in new directions. You need to have great communication and interpersonal skills - their clients like to be challenged but with diplomacy. Close attention to detail, people management skills and a positive attitude are also crucial. It is important that you have experience at a Manager level in an agency. We would also like to hear from people who are active gamers or at least have a strong interest in video games.

As a person you will be highly enthusiastic and collaborative, it's essential to be able to get point across and bring your client, team and Director along with you. You will need to be confident managing both up to the AD and BD as well as down to the Executive on your team.
