Description

Major Players have a great new role for an established Account Manager to work for an independent shopper/retail agency across a large FMCG and Booze account.

You must be passionate about all things retail and understand what makes a shopper tick! Understanding of instore activation and POS is vital.

It is essential that candidates have experience in the following:

Briefing Studios in all aspects of creative process
Point of sale & in-store merchandising solutions
All aspects of production
Budget control & forecasting
Presentations
Microsoft Office programmes (High level of competency in Excel, Word, PowerPoint. Microsoft Project an advantage)

Ideally candidates will have some experience in the following:

A strong understanding of UK (Grocery) Retail (within the alcohol sector)
Sales Promotion law
Digital marketing experience
Involvement in Strategic planning
Online Marketing incl. Etail
Data management & analysis
Data protection guidelines
Customer Relationship Management - experience of managing/ working on UK and Ireland and/or pan-EMEA/NAM customer relationship programmes

Personal Specification-

An engaging and 'can do' attitude
A marketing professional with 3+ years experience of the agency environment
Ideally holds industry qualifications such as IPM Diploma / MAA Excellence in Account Management
Confidence inspiring, both internally and externally
Open-minded, entrepreneurial and calm
Strong administrative and co-ordination skills
Successful key client relationships based on client recognition of experience, good rapport and demonstrable commitment in account-handling abilities
Good knowledge of promotional techniques, legal requirements and codes of practice
Good knowledge of the retail environment and how to work with Sales and Marketing stakeholders at both Brand / Manufacturer and Retailer
Demonstration of good presentation and selling techniques
Exceptional attention to detail and a good eye for design
Exceptional time management skills
Proactive, demonstrating initiative and enthusiasm
