Account Director - The Company

My client is a new breed of agency who have set out to create a dynamic and passionate agency that comes at things from an entirely different start point. They are after a very specific client with a certain range of skills, the ability to speak up and offer a different point of view are key. My client's impressive current client base includes a leading UK supermarket, a mobile network provider and a media agency. In the last few years the agency has won numerous international awards across design & advertising

Account Director - The Role

This role offers the chance to be part of an agency that's growing fast (and potentially internationally) working across a number of our new business wins. We are looking for an Account Director who first and foremost is great at client service, building strong relationships internally and externally with a passion for great work. You will be responsible for bedding in the client and building and securing the business for the long term.

The role involves working with three main accounts for three different clients. This includes managing social feeds, including Facebook and YouTube, as well as editorial and social content:

Account Director - Key Skills

The right attitude is perhaps the most important key required - you must be passionate to learn about what's next and to be fearless in getting to new things.

Your areas of expertise should include:
An understanding of the digital landscape from a social perspective - a good understanding of distribution, social platforms and what gets shared.
They need to be able to lead client conversations and guide (often inexperienced) clients in the right direction and judge/mould presentations and work internally.
A creative sensibility that leads to great briefs, working closely with creative teams to continually push the work to be the best it can be, to sell confidently and persuasively to clients and to hold clients' hands to get them to break out of their comfort zone.
A creative chameleon who is as comfortable working on hero content as commenting on an editorial plan that drives SEO (always working with experts in their field).
Commercially switched on - continually looking at ways to drive organic growth on business, looking for additional projects that may be out of scope.
