Q & A

Q: So, tell me all about yourself
A: OK, why don’t I start with my most recent roles and you can jump in with any questions as we go through – does that work for you?

Q: What do you think of what we do here?
A: Your clients and campaign work was one of the reasons I was keen to meet you – I especially liked this campaign you worked on earlier in the year

Q: What do you think of the role on offer?
A: The role sounds great, especially the client management but I’d be keen to learn more about it – what would you say the main elements of it are?

Q: How much do you know about us?
A: Well, I’ve done some research into your brands of course both from a consumer perspective but also a trade analysis and I’ve been really impressed

Q: Didn’t you used to work with Fred Smith? What did you think of him?
A: Well, that is going back a while. I had a great time at that agency. Where do you know Fred from?

Q: What was your favourite campaign to work on?
A: Too hard to pick one but from a technical design perspective I’d have to pick this one, and for sheer fun with results as well, I’d go for this one

Q: This must have been a nightmare account to work on, yeah?
A: Well…these things always look worse that they are and I learned loads from working on that account – a tough learning curve perhaps, but one everyone should go through really

Q: Hey, take me through your CV
A: Why don’t I focus on the last two or three roles – does that work for you?

Q: Marathon runner eh? What’s that about?
A: I surprised myself actually – only started by trying to get to the pub quicker

Q: You worked at XYZ Agency? Might put you out of our league...
A: I loved working at XYZ, but I wouldn't say that puts me out of your league. I'm passionate about what I do, regardless of who I'm working for or the client list - I just want to do the best job I can

Q: So why do you want to work for us?
A: I'd certainly welcome the chance to work on such exciting accounts. I also think the culture of the business seems like one I could fit into easily – and more importantly, one to which I could contribute to hugely as well
