"Fear of being left behind. Working with people who are young enough to be my son or daughter and seeing how quickly they grasp things is a great motivator." What inspires you? "One of my heroes in this industry is Dave Draeger. He was my boss for a very short time at Saatchi and everything he does, is all about the idea." What would you be doing if you weren't doing this? "I’d be a taxi driver, chatting to people in the back of my cab." What made you want to det into advertising? "I didn’t want to end up in a job that was normal. I wanted to be in town, too. I love central London and this was job that gave me that. It was also a job that was different from my mates’. How do you keep up with industry trends? "My iPhone. I’d be totally lost without that thing. My kids, too. My 15 year old son is like our IT department and that helps." What are your industry peeves? "Arrogance. And big agencies that think they can just buy the latest talent, but don’t know what they’re buying or what they can do with it." What's getting the most play on your iPod? "Two things: The Motors, Airport – I love that record. And Patrick Watson." Search for the latest advertising jobs now.
